This time a week ago we were still recovering from the huge success of our Southbank show Waiting when suddenly Southwark Playhouse ring offering us a 3 week slot in May.
So like the crazy fools that we are we jump at the chance to mount the world premiere of Trevor Michael Georges' Otieno (a new version of Othello set in Mugabe's Zimbabwe) with an astoundingly short lead time of 9 weeks! So it's full steam ahead on the audition front - having seen some brilliant actors last week we've got another full day tomorrow. We're all running to catch up with ourselves - not least Trevor - who is writing like a demon and seems to have a new draft finished every other day! Exciting times....
